Ravishing Beauties:
Notes: The Ravishing Beauties were Virginia Astley's band with Kate St. John and Nicki Holland. They toured, but never released anything, as the Ravishing Beauties, though they did record "A Bao a Qu" as a Virginia Astley release. Given this, it is reasonable to conclude that all three were also involved with the unreleased Untitled and She Stood Up And Cried lps as well as the "Love's A Lonely Place To Be" 12" and the Promise Nothing lp. One track from the latter, "Futility" appeared on the
NME Sampler cass credited to the Ravishing Beauties, though it seems most likely that NME was just showing that they knew who the band was, more than anything else.
